Responsibilities

This entry-level position serves as an integral member of the Contracts and Subcontracts department. Our Team strives to provide both internal and external customers with solution-oriented leadership and guidance and is focused on achieving the strategic objectives of the organization while balancing risk and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has an interest in contributing to the success of the department in a fast-paced environment. Applicant should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and an interest in learning about contracts and grants. The candidate should have extraordinary attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

This is a hybrid onsite role with the expectation of being in the Cambridge office 1-2 days a week.

    Accurately and efficiently input contract data, including new awards, modifications, and correspondence into contracting systems.
  • Organizing and maintaining contract files in a consistent file structure.
  • Responsible for supporting the administration of contracts by performing specific tasks under supervision and guidance.
  • Run reports and assist with tracking, monitoring, and organizing information.
  • Assist with special projects, as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of relevant Government contracts or grant experience.
  • Knowledge of contracting principles and government contracting or grant requirements preferred
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same.
  • Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and have an aptitude for performing work functions in a timely and well-organized manner with limited oversight.
  • Must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills that can be deployed to collaborate effectively with different functional teams on a variety of topics.
  • The ideal candidate will have extraordinary attention to detail, time management and accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Word.
  • US Citizen with ability to attain a government clearance.
