About the Mission You Will Join: This Sr. Cyber SME Team Lead position will be supporting the NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration) Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Responsible for federal information management and information technology (IT), and complex-wide cybersecurity for NNSA. Your Impact to the Mission:

Sr. Cyber SME Team Lead: This key person is an expert in leading and managing the cyber assessment team in the execution of cybersecurity assessments in the diversity of Information and Operational Technology and cybersecurity fields.

Experience Needed to Be Successful:

  • 15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading cybersecurity technical testing teams
  • Knowledge of penetration testing of IT and OT systems
  • Experience monitoring, reviewing, and providing comments on new customer and federal policies
  • Effective information and data management
  • Experience communicating with key stakeholders and customers
  • Maintain impeccable time and organization skills
  • Demonstrate motivation and ability to work within approved processes
  • Demonstrate professional, effective, and factual assessment reporting
  • Possess expert writing and presentation skills
  • Possess a strong level of technical and program knowledge and experience in IT/OT and cybersecurity;
  • Experience leading cybersecurity technical testing teams, possess excellent communication skills;
  • Maintain impeccable time and organization skills; demonstrate professionalism beyond reproach for themselves;
  • Demonstrate motivation and ability to work within approved processes;
  • Demonstrate professional, effective, and factual assessment reporting; and possess expert writing and presentation skills.
  • Have the capacity to provide both program and technical support to the Federal Program Manager in all phases of planning, development, programming, and execution of the cybersecurity assessment program.

Basic Qualifiers:

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, Cybersecurity preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree?Yes
  • Required Certification(s): Maintain a combination of program and technical certifications to include CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP or related industry recognized certifications, and satisfy requirements for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical III and Information Assurance Management III categories. Shall also accomplish continuous skill development through continued professional education credits as dictated by certification requirements and maintain certification as a DOE derivative classifier.

  • Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field:15
  • Minimum Clearance to Start:Top Secret
  • Work Status Allowable:US Citizenship
