Position Summary:

Cell Signaling Technology is seeking two experienced and execution-oriented Human Resources Business Partners (one Senior HRBP) to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. These roles offer a mix of strategic initiatives, talent management, project leadership and foundational HR responsibilities. Reporting to the Executive Director, Global HR, the HRBPs will provide support to global business/functional executives and senior leaders to assess and anticipate HR-related needs and deliver value added services that enable achievement of business objectives.

The ideal candidates are highly motivated, engaging people who can build credible relationships, provide strategic and seasoned counsel, and timely delivery of HR processes such as workforce planning, talent assessment and development, management coaching, performance management, and employee engagement. They will provide guidance on change management issues and contribute to a compelling employer brand that will enable attraction and retention of top talent across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:




    Work with the Executive Director, Global HR to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization performance, and develop/implement plans to build needed organization capabilities and support continued business growth

  • May lead and manage our transition to a new HRIS, taking ownership
  • Work across assigned functional area to build partnerships and provide seamless human resources services to clients
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to implement best practices in the recruitment, staffing and on-boarding of exceptional talent
  • Partner with management to develop and execute plans that optimize talent, structure, process, and culture
  • Will potentially support exempt and non-exempt employees, providing support, guidance and consultation on a daily basis
  • Assist in leading workforce planning and talent planning processes to drive a high level of performance and collaboration in alignment with the company's goals, mission, and culture
  • Assist managers in addressing team management, employee development, performance issues and improving employee performance, including providing guidance on effective coaching and counseling, and inclusive leadership
  • Serve as a resource to employees and leaders in facilitating the resolution of internal issues and conflicts



Required Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree (Business or Human Resources preferred)
  • 5+ plus minimum years of progressive HR experience; 10+ years for Senior HRBP
  • Experience designing and executing scalable HR processes
  • Experience leading/managing projects
  • Exceptional client relations skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a high degree of personal credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively sell ideas and influence others
  • Ability to put HR initiatives in context of Corporate strategy
  • Listener: "seeks first to understand and then to be understood"

Preferred Qualifications:




  • Master's degree a plus
  • HR Certifications (PHR/SPHR) desirable
  • Experience in a growing, fast-paced, high performing company
  • Experience in both large and small companies
  • Biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience highly desirable
