MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum of five Years' experience
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting
  • MatLab experience


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Significant experience with RF engineering is strongly desired, including experience with Vector Network Analyzers, RF amplifier testing, RF test fixture and switch matrix development
  • Incumbent will work alongside and support government engineers in the design and development of automated RF test set architectures, produce engineering documentation, and technical data defining automated test set software and hardware configuration (TDP), develop a test set verification plan, lead the development of calibration support, and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide mechanical/electrical engineering support to ensure procedural documents are accurate and correct
  • Provide mechanical/electrical engineering support for AN/SPS-67 and AN/SPS-73 Radars systems and associated equipment
  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering support shall include:

    • Develop procedures with initial guidance and in-process review from Government subject matter experts (SME)
    • Implement Government SME comments as part of this support tasking
    • Review performance specification/performance requirements to identify test parameters necessary to establish radar subsystems test capability
    • Design multi-functional test stations capable of energizing/testing Radar subcomponent performance parameters
    • Analyze test data
    • Update performance requirements as necessary to meet ever changing needs
