Signal Processing Engineer

As a leader in signal processing, we're looking for you to solve complex challenges and shape the customer's dynamic mission by designing and implementing Radio Frequency (RF) communication systems and leading teams of engineers and developers to support quick reaction capabilities. You will lead development teams and advise Project Leads (PLs) on project schedules, risks, and testing. You will interact with technical team members from multiple organizations in a team environment. Your skills will be used to maintain systems and documentation as needed for development and ongoing operations. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your skillset into areas like signal processing, Linux, and Docker. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in signal processing development

  • Experience programming with Python, C/C++, or Bash

  • Experience developing in a Linux environment

  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing

  • Ability to complete tasks, drive projects to closure, assimilate and correlate project information in a fast-paced environment, and incorporate them into coherent test strategies

  • Ability to shift from one project to another in a dynamic work environment

  • Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentations

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in EE

Nice If You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in signal processing development

  • Experience developing with GPU architectures and CUDA

  • Experience remotely troubleshooting issues

  • Knowledge of various SATCOM systems and RF signals

  • Knowledge of IP network transport and protocols

  • Knowledge of the theory and implementation of SATCOM protocols, systems, and standards

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret complex documents

  • Ability to review, analyze, and modify systems, including coding, testing, debugging, installing, and documenting

  • Master's degree in EE or related Science or Engineering field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
