As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape survivability and protection systems for ground vehicles by leading research and testing of new technologies. Your customer will trust you to design and develop these systems and evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you will be able to broaden your skillset into areas like vehicle and occupant protection systems. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • Experience in generating system level design requirements

  • Experience with standard free format drawing tools

  • Knowledge of basic system architecture work products including block diagrams, interface block diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams

  • Knowledge of system level networking design principles

  • Ability to work independently on a system level design concepts with minimal oversight from other team members

  • Ability to develop system level concepts based on customer needs and convey these concepts using basic systems architecture work products

  • Ability to convey a design concept to a larger team and defend design decisions when challenged

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with systems engineering process, including systems engineering "V" for ground combat platform design within the DoD 5000 construct

  • Experience with ground combat vehicle electrical system design

  • Experience with the MagicDraw modeling tool suite

  • Knowledge of ground combat vehicle system safety design best practices

  • Knowledge of structured decision making processes

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 90,000 to 112,000.
