Cyber Operations Analyst

As a cyber threat specialist on our team, you'll be trusted to help customers solve problems using the latest software like Splunk and Tenable. Using penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and threat monitoring, you'll work with multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You'll help monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.

In this role, you'll impact defense intelligence by monitoring the network environment for new and evolving threats.

You Have:

  • Experience in assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and tenets

  • Experience with using network analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities

  • Ability to advise on network security issues and enforce network security and vulnerability mitigation policies and procedures

  • Ability to analyze network and endpoint logs, conduct incident response, and effectively report incident information to leadership

  • Ability to discover and support new analytic methods for detecting threats

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570-01-M compliance IAT-II certification, including GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP, within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD

  • Experience with penetration testing

  • Knowledge of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) platforms

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • DoD 8570 and DoD 8570-01-M CSSP Analyst or Incident Responder Certification
