Senior Cyber Security Analyst

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years in Information Assurance with experience with Host-based Security System (HBSS) to include installation, configuration, policy development, troubleshooting, and administration
• Minimum of 1 year experience with executing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Commercial Certification (e.g. Security+, CySA+, GICSP, CISSP, CCNP Security). Microsoft Windows client certification (minimum Windows 7) - or recent equivalent as per SECNAV M-5239.2 & (SECNAVINST) 5239.20A. Microsoft Windows Server certification (minimum Windows Server 2008) - or recent equivalent as per SECNAV M-5239.2 & (SECNAVINST) 5239.20A

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year experience with virtual environments including VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V to support installation and configuration of HBSS and ACAS for Navy Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS)
• Experience configuring physical hardware and setting up peripheral devices
• 1 year experience with executing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans
• 1 year experience with computer networking to troubleshoot HBSS and ACAS integration issues
• Experience configuring and managing virtual host and storage hardware, and propose and assist with automation initiatives for Virtual Machine (VM) creation, configuration, and provisioning
• Experience Continuous full stack IT data centers
• Ability to build good relationships with peers, business partners, and clients
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• Other certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional, CompTIA Cloud+/Linux+/Network+, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, or VMware Certified Professional, Windows Server 2012 or 2016

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports installation and configuration of HBSS and ACAS for Navy Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS) using virtual environments to include VMWare ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Performs risk analyses of systems during all phases of the system development life cycle using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tool
• Initiates Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) registrations, prepares, processes, updates and monitors RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots utilizing Host-based Security System (HBSS)
• Implements and validates A&A packages to ensure security controls and vulnerabilities meet DoD RMF authorization compliance requirements
• Performs Computer Networking tasks to include troubleshooting HBSS and ACAS integration issues
