Bookstore Associate
Responsibilities/Duties
- Performs customer service activities such as greeting and assists customers within the bookstore to ensure their bookstore experience is informative, efficient, and effective.
- Assist customers with book selection, POS checkout and other bookstore related challenges.
- Receive, unload, and move inventory including books and all other bookstore merchandise along with verifying inventory and completing product reconciliation.
- Keep bookstore well-stocked, presentable, and shoppable and tidy.
- Ability to lift minimum 30-pound boxes.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- One year of related work experience as well as experience working in retail.
- Able to work store hours 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM and extended evening and weekend shift during beginning of semester.
Preferred Qualifications
- (2) years Retail experience preferred
- Experience in an institution of Higher Education
