Our team incorporates powerful, new technologies into ever-evolving software frameworks. Together we can challenge your programming prowess to enhance real-time modeling and simulation capabilities that stimulate network-centric combat systems and craft state-of-the-art analytic visualization tools that define creativity.

Gain experience in the full software lifecycle from requirements and design through deployment and support. Implement graphical user interfaces and back-end software using C/C++ and Qt on Linux.


Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Are pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Have a passion for object-oriented software development.
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. To ensure the safety and well-being of the community, APL has established a policy requiring that all staff be vaccinated against COVID-19. All staff members must provide proof of full vaccination or have an approved medical or religious accommodation by their start date.
  • Are able to obtain a Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

  • Have a strong understanding of C++ or Python, Linux, Qt, Git, and a scripting language.
