Cybersecurity Activity Analyst

The Challenge:

When our country's Cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough - we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect our network activity, we need strategic policy analysis. That's why we need you, a security specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our Cyber resilience.

As a Cyber Strategic Planning and Policy Development Consultant on our team, you'll lead the assessment of Cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You'll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you'll advance the development of a strategic Cyber roadmap. You'll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Join us as we protect our networks through strategic Cyber policy analysis. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work intelligence organization

  • 5+ years of experience with government agencies

  • 5+ years of experience with policies, including instructions, directives, and guidance

  • Experience with developing briefings and whitepapers for senior-level clients

  • Experience with briefing clients and team members on technical, policy, and functional issues

  • Ability to present and communicate information to audiences effectively, including those with varying technical backgrounds, such as DoD leadership

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Cybersecurity and activity monitoring

  • Experience with working at a DoD client site full-time

  • Experience with analyzing policy, strategy, and implementation plans

  • Ability to work with diverse teams in an often fast-paced environment

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 110,000 to 135,000.
