If you are graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, we would love to have you join our team!

We are seeking creative new software engineers to help us develop ground system software and tools. We continuously cultivate collaboration and partnership within our staff. As a member of the Ground Applications team, you will develop the next generation of autonomous ground systems for spacecraft missions. Our software systems span the entire space mission lifecycle. We foster an environment of perpetual personal development, innovation, and candid feedback. Your creative contributions will help mission operators execute successful spacecraft missions.


Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you:

  • Possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related subject area.
  • Are skilled in and/or have knowledge of software engineering, including software design methodology, requirements development, and configuration management.
  • Have experience developing back-end and user-facing application software.
  • Have experience in developing software using Java and crafting and implementing RESTful web services.
  • Are familiar with Python, C/C++, .NET, UML, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Have experience or are familiar with JavaScript applications, and working with HTML5 and CSS3. Experience using jQuery with client-side frameworks, preferably Angular (React, Backbone, Bootstrap, or similar modern JS frameworks accepted).
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Are able to ultimately obtain Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

You will go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you:

  • Possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Have experience with Agile software development concepts.
  • Have knowledge of Unity and experience developing Augmented and Virtual Reality applications.
  • Have knowledge of DevOps Engineering or Process Automation.
  • Have experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Have experience with Solaris, Unix, Linux, and network computing.
  • Have experience with professional software development tools, such as integrated development environments (IDE), version control, issue trackers, debuggers and continuous integration tools.
