Senior Financial Analyst - Hybrid

The role

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Development team to contribute to the ongoing evaluation and analysis of strategic business growth opportunities. This role reports to the Sr. Vice President of Corporate Strategy and will focus primarily on the development and analysis of financial models in support of business case creation in collaboration with the Corporate Development Team. This role will also partner closely with CST's Finance team to evaluate and plan for appropriate resource allocation for opportunities that come to full realization.

Conduct thorough evaluations of current and future business opportunities, including:



• Business case creation
• Development and analysis of predictive financial models.
• Financial diligence for strategic transactions
• Risk analysis
• Strategic fit analysis




• Develop and communicate analyses and recommendations for senior leadership to drive strategic decisions
• Support leadership through the ongoing maintenance and analysis of detailed and meaningful financial reports
• Leverage financial modeling expertise to contribute to the Strategic Planning process and other special projects related to market and competitive intelligence
• Partner with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement efforts
• Provide technical expertise and direction regarding financial issues and discrepancies
• Make recommendations on ways to improve data and systems to allow more efficient reporting

• You have direct experience with business case creation
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Mathematics with 5 years of experience or an MBA or MS in a quantitative discipline with 2+ years of experience
• Experience and exposure to the evaluation and planning of mergers & acquisitions is desired, but not required
