Senior Manager, Customer Enablement Marketing

The Customer Enablement Marketing team is responsible for leading and coordinating the administration of all aspects of the Education Customer Enablement Marketing team. You will bring the marketing strategies and plans to life by becoming the expert in effectively executing marketing content and messaging. This role supports cross-marketing functions by facilitating traditional project management and providing collateral to the CDW Education Sales team. This role will oversee and enforce governance, helping to ensure that agreed upon principles and guidelines are taught, communicated, understood, and adhered to. The Sr. Manager, Customer Enablement Marketing is responsible for driving alignment between Sales and Marketing through regular Sales engagement, communications, and the development of localized marketing actions.

This leader will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the sales team understands our marketing resources and strategies, enabling them to drive revenue more efficiently.

Key Areas of Responsibility



  • Lead marketing strategy and execute campaigns to drive demand for CDW Amplified Services and related partners
  • Manage lead generation events for Google Workspace for Education
  • Lead team to drive results on leads generated, converted, deals created, closed
  • Collaborate with leaders from sales, and other key stakeholders to confirm and submit campaign plans (ideate with a larger group)
  • Create synergy across teams and unify efforts to accelerate results
  • Use working knowledge on select activities to provide recommendations for annual planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams on creative review, targeting, test design for existing and new activities to optimize campaign performance
  • Use advanced knowledge of email and digital metrics to translate data into hypotheses and identifies, recommends, and executes on action plans to meet annual goals
  • Provide recommendations on existing reporting views
  • Identify Sales priorities through consistent, real-time, and opportunistic engagements, while driving marketing awareness & presence
  • Capture Sales inputs, feedback & prioritization to align the marketing plan to Sales priorities
  • Create communications related to the marketing plan to make sales aware of any changes that will impact the organization or the customers
  • Track and support marketing activity execution to see the plan from ideation to delivery
  • Manage localized marketing activities including collateral, events, and messaging
  • Support the sales process with timely delivery and, if necessary, creation of marketing assets
  • Update partner alignment of events, taking into consideration local sales relationships and preferences
  • Provide leadership to individuals on team(s) through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management
  • Marketing control - Set KPI's, test for results, and share findings to help the collective team make better decisions


Education and/or Experience Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience in Marketing OR
  • 5 years of CDW experience


Required Qualifications



  • Demonstrated ability to coach or mentor others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders
  • Proven Project Management experience with a track record of staying within budget
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications



  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven record of successful project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internal and with customer-facing copy, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining strategic relationships
  • Ability to multitask and be adaptable in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, and Adobe Analytics or similar platforms
  • Agency experience
  • Prior related experience, preferably in education technology
