Who we're looking for:

As A Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play an essential role in achieving our growth goals by creating and executing a talent acquisition strategy that delivers a best-in-class experience to hire top talent. Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for recruiting and leading a team of talent acquisition partners to build pipelines across our Sales and Marketing organizations. We are always looking for fresh ideas that make our talent strategy most effective in a competitive market. It's essential that our talent acquisition manager has the agility to pivot with the market and business. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, positive, curious, resourceful and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:



  • Full lifecycle recruiting across a variety of roles in sales and marketing
  • Lead and develop members of our Sales & Marketing recruiting team
  • Partner with hiring managers to translate business strategies into relevant talent strategies, scale hiring practices, and drive the recruiting process
  • Create compelling, inclusive job descriptions to attract top talent
  • Proactively develop diverse pipelines of talent through networking, sourcing, marketing and relationship building. Provide a high-touch experience to candidates, establishing a relationship to better understand the person (not just the resume), and providing a transparent view of the larger team and culture at Starry
  • Serve as a key contributor to the talent brand strategy including recruiting events and promotion through social media
  • Generate, analyze, and present data to make recommendations about the most effective hiring strategies
  • Help foster Starry's culture, diversity, and core values across all of our markets through recruitment


What you need:



  • 5-8+ years' full lifecycle sales and marketing recruiting experience on an in-house talent acquisition team
  • 2+ years leading high volume sales recruiting. Experience as a people manager or mentor.
  • Experience within a high-growth, rapidly scaling company
  • Ability to work with numbers, metrics, and trends to tell a compelling story and make recommendations that result in desired outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and distributed team-based environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced social media and recruiting sourcing skills (i.e. LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed), bonus points for opening our eyes to creative new sourcing avenues!
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred). Proficiency with GSuite Applications & Slack
