UX Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Quickly grasp an understanding of clients' businesses, and the problems they're asked to solve

* Translate client business goals into intelligent ideas and recommendations that lead to accessible and equitable user experiences

* Collaborate with other creatives, strategists, and developers to deliver frictionless experiences

* Work with copywriters and digital strategists to develop strategically driven solutions

* Expertly communicate while striving to articulate meaningful rationale for creative decisions that drive a shared understanding and build consensus

* Create documentation such as personas, empathy, and journey maps that represent the user experience and pain points

* Develop precise and highly accessible UI layouts and designs such as wireframes

* Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our user experience design practice

* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts

* Proficiency with modern UX/UI design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree or higher

* Strong portfolio of work demonstrating design for experiences across multiple platforms

* 3+ years of relevant experience in UX, product, or interaction design

* Experience in leading or being responsible for UX and design for end-to-end workflows

* Experience working within and contributing to a structured design system

* Experience with prototyping, user testing, motion, and front end development is a plus

* Design/marketing/advertising agency experience is a plus

This position is located in the greater Washington D.C. and Philadelphia markets with the ability to workremotely.
