Position: The Director, HCP Marketing will work with the Senior Director, Marketing, Psoriasis and Atopic Dermatitis Franchise and play a critical role in the development and execution of Dermavant's psoriasis and atopic dermatitis marketing strategy. This role will help lead the execution of the VTAMA cream brand plan HCP marketing activities including Personal promotion and Non-Personal Promotion. He/she will partner with the Marketing team and cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, the Field Sales Force, Sales Learning & Development, Operations, Market Access, and Trade to gain alignment and achievement of key marketing and sales initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the strategy for the HCP segment, ensure cross-functional alignment and integration with the overall Brand and Franchise strategy.
- Collaborate across the Commercial team to devise and execute HCP marketing initiatives for VTAMA cream in the PsO market that increases brand awareness and drives customer behavior.
- Champion the brand voice with the Sales force, ensuring brand strategy is understood, embraced and implemented seamlessly.
- Partner with Sr Director to develop Atopic Dermatitis launch readiness plans, including conducting market research, launch planning workshops, industry benchmarking, messaging and creative development.
- Designing creative and innovative campaigns, message development and ensuring consistent messaging throughout the field and alignment within the broader organization.
- Form strong and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders which ensure organization alignment and success in brand strategy and messaging, competitive positioning, market awareness and sales execution.
- Develop, track and assess key brand performance metrics. Ensure marketing programs and campaigns are executed effectively and efficiently and within budget. Develop programs and tools for optimal sales force effectiveness.
- Conduct in-depth competitive assessments in partnership with the Business Intelligence team as necessary to provide insightful, actionable information regarding relevant business opportunities.
- Ensure that all marketing communications support plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
- Lead and develop Brand Managers to deliver highly effective campaigns that drive category awareness and promote engagement.
- Collaborate with Market Access team to help develop and execute access strategy.
- Serve as the brand lead with CMC group and Business Operations and Intelligence on forecasting, ensuring a high level of forecasting accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Strategic Relations Team, Medical Team and Director of Peer to Peer marketing to effectively identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Identify future market dynamics and opportunities to guide/refine the franchise strategy. Remain abreast of industry trends and communicate relevant and meaningful information and insights regarding trends/developments.
- Ensure compliance with the law and all requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
- Seven or more years of Brand Management or Product Development experience, including proven success launching new and innovative products into complex and challenging market access environments.
- Experience and knowledge of how to build brand strategies, including positioning products to drive revenue, identifying critical success factors, and implementing innovative launch strategies and tactics are required.
- Experience managing budgets and expenses; knowledge of financial statements and budget management. Able to build business case for any proposed initiatives and present to assigned accounts.
- Strong analytical and technical skills; comfortable with syndicated data.
- Ability to tie marketing objectives to overall performance metrics and/or ROI.
- Strong entrepreneurial aptitude and be solution focused. Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage numerous projects at one time.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with senior management, health care professionals, global marketing teams and market affiliates, sales teams and other internal departments. Experience in presenting in front of large audiences and senior executives.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead in a cross functional environment, as well as the ability to assess trade-offs and synergies among projects.
