Gartner Peer Insights is a core business unit within Gartner. Our mission is to transform the way technology and business decisions are made using peer-driven insights. The Gartner Peer Insights platform was created in 2015 and now holds more than 500K insights (Reviews/Ratings, Polls, Discussions etc.).

The Gartner Peer Insights team is seeking a highly talented and motivated leader, who is obsessed with crafting the best user experience for professionals worldover to make decisions through peer insights. Someone who can leverage quantitative and qualitative insights as well as their own product intuition to create client value and drive retention by leveraging a hungry and talented team of 12+ PMs, and a unique platform with capabilities including software ratings and reviews, discussions, polls, surveys, and more. As a leader, you will own the strategy, ideation, definition and execution of new features and the optimization of existing capabilities to drive user retention on the platform. You will also be responsible for communicating the strategy, roadmap, and major updates to key Gartner stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for driving engagement and retention on the platform
  • Continue to push a strong goal-orientation (vs. a task-orientation), customer obsession, and data/feedback-driven iteration culture in the GPI PM team
  • Collaborate with PMs, engineering, and design to launch new experiences that will delight users and drive business outcomes
  • Analyze feature/experiment results and communicate learnings to the team, executives, and other key stakeholders
  • Work within time constraints to meet business critical needs (often managing multiple, time-sensitive and high priority initiatives)
  • Work with our data science and user research teams to craft insights into the behaviors and needs of users on GPI, and translate those insights into hypotheses, tests and features that ultimately lead to a constantly evolving & improved product experience
  • Seek to understand the competitive environment and maintain global awareness of unique user experiences specifically in regards to user engagement
  • Work with various cross functional teams (Community Operations, Marketing, etc) to drive adoption and usage of the features you ship
  • Mentor product managers across the organization

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the minutia
  • Proven experience building product roadmaps, defining experiments and working collaboratively with design and engineering counterparts
  • Seasoned leader with experience managing leaders and multiple teams
  • Experienced cross-functional leader and a consummate collaborator across multiple domains
  • You know how to define team goals and success metrics, and ensure that we are tracking towards improvements that align with Gartner's wider business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years working as a Product Leader (or similar role) with previous experience working in an agile development lifecycle or other fast-paced consumer or business software development environments.
