Synopsys is looking for an adaptable, passionate, and resourceful Engineer. A reputation for "getting the job done" and who is passionate, autonomous, and creative. A person committed to achieving high quality results in a team environment. The position is for a front-end Digital Design Engineer with 3+ experiences. The mandate is to develop next-generation USB controller IP from concept to customer delivery. You are involved with its development at all stages of the product life cycle.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work with architect in design definition and implementation
• Develop and maintain design spec and micro-architecture spec
• Verilog RTL development and debug
• Work with verification team for test plan/strategy to meet all functional requirements and performance
• Work with timing and physical team for timing closure and meet power and area goals

Key Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electronics Engineering with minimum of 3 years + of ASIC frontend & behavioral modeling experience is required
• Proficiency with Verilog RTL coding
• Experienced in interface timing budget & clock domain crossing design
• Familiar with digital IP interface designs and micro-Architecture
• Have solid communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Having previous direct experience with USB is a plus
• Understanding of Co-sim, Conformal LEC also give additional advantage
