Job Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer on this team, you will help define, design, build and support the control systems and APIs that bring internet to our satellite internet customers, including homes, airplanes, ships and more!
Responsibilities will include all phases of software development, ranging from requirements gathering, software design, agile development, integration/test, and supporting the systems in Production. In this role, you'll help design and build both the software, and the automation to deploy and monitor it. You'll solve technical problems associated with the interaction of complex systems in a global network.
You'll work with teammates and customers across many geographical locations and subject areas. You'll mentor early career engineers while also learning and applying new technologies to difficult problems.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of relevant work experience
* Experience with HTTP and HTTP APIs, especially REST
* Programming experience with Python
* Experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation tools, such as Ansible
* Experience with AWS Cloud Services, such as lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Bachelors in CE, EE, CS, relatable field or related work experience
Preferences:
* Knowledge of internet protocols and networking
* Experience with Clojure

For Colorado-based jobs only: The minimum for this position is $135,650 annually; however, base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
