Overview

LSAC is a not-for profit organization whose mission is to advance law and justice by encouraging diverse, talented individuals to study law and by supporting their enrollment and learning journeys from prelaw through practice. LSAC provides products and services that support candidates and schools throughout the law school admission process, and innovative solutions to expand and diversify the range of prelaw students, enhance student outcomes in law school, and support legal professionals throughout their careers.

Summary of Position:

The Netsuite Solutions Analyst will contribute to the company's ERP vision. They will help identify system gaps and business needs and implement technical solutions as described herein.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. The individual employed in this position will be required to:

    Works with Senior Manager of Budget and Finance Systems to identify, implement and support relevant system changes and projects. Collaborate to identify and implement digitization, automation, and orchestration efforts.
  • Provide internal, on-going system/technical support to users, including training and maintaining/auditing proper system access for all roles and users.
  • Technical point of contact for all aspects of NetSuite, user access and data integrity.
  • Support the Finance team and business users with questions, issues, and open support requests. Open support tickets and work with NetSuite and Finance users to find workable solutions, log enhancement requests, etc.
  • Coordinate and ensure applicable user acceptance testing is performed for system updates and projects. Work with the Finance team and business, where applicable.
  • Supports all modules of NetSuite and 3rd party integrations, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Purchase Orders, Expense Reporting/AMEX integration, Fixed Assets, Payment/Order Processing, Budgeting.
  • Supports the PowerBI team through operability of the SuiteAnalytics Connector service. Works with other areas of IT to integrate systems and applications.
  • Works with Finance team on other Financial Systems projects and tasks as required.


Qualifications

Competencies:

  • Demonstrates full understanding of the NetSuite platform, including experience with all modules (Order to Cash, Revenue Recognition, Procurement, GL, AP, AR, FAM, Budgeting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects/segments, scripting, workflows, reports, saved searches, dashboards, and forms within NetSuite.
  • Experience with implementing and administering NetSuite Planning and Budgeting is a plus.
  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst. Firm understanding of customizations and business processes as they relate to NetSuite.
  • Understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting is desired.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills. Outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills, including ability to work and collaborate remotely. Strong attention to detail, goal oriented.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility standards is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business suite is a plus.
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification is a plus.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.

Position Type:

The LSAC standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. ET. While these are the standard office hours for LSAC, as an exempt employee, the employee will be expected to work the hours necessary to satisfactorily complete their assignments in a responsible and professional manner.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree with,
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Netsuite.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:

  • Little to none with the possibility of occasional travel to LSAC Headquarters and/or educational conferences/tradeshows.
