Job Description

We are seeking a proactive finance manager to join our team. The manager will be a finance business partner (FBP) that will cultivate operational partnerships to drive strategic and financial insights and successfully complete the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads the coordination, organization and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation and business planning support.
  • Supports deal review activities and business case development for key initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
  • Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of the business.
  • Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
  • Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • At least 5 years of relevant financial analysis work experience in FP&A or corporate finance
  • Advanced skills in Hyperion and MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the Payment industry a plus
  • Knowledge of Visa systems and practices a strong plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management
  • Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
  • Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials
  • Be eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
