JOB DESCRIPTION

Drive the growth of our VBS business-to-business payments global API partner ecosystem. Use your business, technical, and product background to build revenue generating partnerships and help Visa continue to expand its 'Network of Networks' strategy for B2B payments. Influence two global trends in today's economy: API ecosystems and global business-to-business payments.

Essential Functions

• Define how APIs can be used as the basis for addressing vertical-based opportunities by working with partners and our business development / partnership organizations.

• Lead a team of API product managers and expand the team to include solution architects and eventually vertical product managers.

• Build APIs with your product managers and the technology organization and formulate API-based solutions with your solution architects that address market opportunities

• Optimize the developer experience which allows for solutions to be delivered to market more quickly by partnering with implementation organization, the Visa Developer Platform team, and API product managers.

• Collaborate with regional partnership organizations

  • to support the recruitment of partners that can drive value with APIs (and the vertical solutions that can be addressed with a known pattern of APIs).

  • to facilitate the success of partners

  • to drive VBS revenue and PV growth via API partners

• Work with your data partnership product managers to drive the value of data partnerships.

• Collaborate with other Visa global / product partnership organizations and other API ecosystem organizations to learn and promote partnering and ecosystem building best practices.

• Become a contributor to the 'Network of Networks' strategy by incorporating API ecosystem attributes into overall strategy.

• Contribute to marketing materials, product documentation, and external sales documentation for API Ecosystem.

• Lead, influence, communicate, and collaborate across both Visa and our partner ecosystem.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
