Aon is looking for an Commercial Insurance Broker You are a dynamic insurance professional in search of a team and environment where your talents will be appreciated and developed. We are an established and rapidly growing Commercial Insurance team. We have a top-shelf roster of long-term clients who are accustomed to receiving outstanding customer service and work product. We are currently hiring for a relationship driven individual who can grow with our Financial Services Group as a Broker. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our Aon office. Work Style: Hybrid - work from home but come into office as needed 2-3 days a week. Your impact as a Broker Job Responsibilities: Acts as the primary negotiator in acquiring the most appropriate carrier coverage from a variety of insurance carriers. Be part of the client facing team, along with Producers and/or Account Executives, who will participate in client discussions to understand needs and develop strategies to address the clients' needs. Identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines markets to utilize, ensuring detailed evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace. Provides alternative options and/or design risk transfer/financing products for presentation to the client. Develops the ability to articulate structured portfolio solution (SPS) benefits to the client and uses these skills to implement SPS offerings whenever appropriate based on client need. Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve existing SPS offerings. Responsible for the day-to-day, deal team management and account management and for broking. Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients at senior levels within the company. Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to service management requirements Pro-actively develops knowledge of the Aon capabilities in order to identify and develop relevant cross sales opportunities and Aon tools. Enjoys developing new client relationships and building upon existing relationships. Works and collaborates with Aon leadership to achieve goals. Influences and has exposure to Aon leaders in multiple offices. Serves as a source for information concerning market trends, pricing practices and other underwriting policies. May participate in development of department policies and procedures and implements them in assigned area. You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Typically, at least 5 - 10 years of commercial insurance, risk management and/or legal experience preferably with a concentration on Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Crime and Special Risk. Effective solid understanding of carrier underwriting practices & processes. Confirmed leadership skills in working with teams and ability to work with clients and to successfully exceed client expectations. Proven client facing skills including effective presentations & communications. Shown organization and ability to work with others. Experience in resource deployment and utilization management. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various levels. Successfully operates in a fast-paced driven environment that requires the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously. Acquire and/or maintain appropriate broker's license.
