KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Business Analyst to join our Growth and Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with solution team owners and subject matter experts to develop and document business requirements, system use cases, functional, non-functional and operational requirements
  • Review and analyze the request backlog for fit/gap to existing architecture patterns and solutions; work with business teams and architects to close gaps by recommending existing pattern solutions whenever possible; identify similar requests, work with solution owners to reach consensus and consolidate
  • Represent solution owner in functions including backlog prioritization, participate in sprint planning/grooming and resourcing requirements
  • Elicit and capture business requirements in an Agile software development environment
  • Facilitate discussions with team in developing acceptance criteria for user stories and assist with operational transition, training, knowledge transfer and SOP documentation
  • Partner closely with our Architecture team, project managers and offshore development teams managing work using Agile Scrum & Kanban boards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience as a business analyst
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a leading accredited college/university preferred
  • Experience writing requirements for architecture solutions using an agile software development process, preferably Azure DevOps; Demonstrated ability to provide robust documentation and interacting with multi-disciplined teams, architects, infrastructure, software development, testing, operations and support
  • Experience with creation and execution of test plans, ability to trace test plans to requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a team player who works well with functional and technical resources; aptitude for taking strategic direction from executive management and see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
