IS&T's Global Infrastructure Operations (GIO) provides architecture, planning, management, and maintenance of Apple's global networks and computing systems. GIO delivers world-class information technology infrastructure from including Apple's data and voice networks, and data center hosted computing systems to each Mac or IOS device and everything in between. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy, customer focused Senior Storage Support Administrator to join the GIO Storage team supporting Apple's global Storage infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the SAN/NAS Storage infrastructure. You will also provide Lead support to the GIO Offshore Storage team, overseeing activities administering, operation and implementing various Storage solutions. This role is also responsible for incident management as it relates to the SAN/NAS Storage infrastructure and performing advanced troubleshooting of complex system issues, working with various storage vendors in timely and efficient manner to prevent business impacts. Key Qualifications Solid Experience (5+Years) with administration of various SAN and NAS storage architectures such as Hitachi, Pure, EMC/PowerFlex, Brocade switches, EMC/Isilon, NetApp FAS/E-Series, Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance. Able to effectively navigate various OS such as Linux RedHat/OEL, IBM AIX, Solaris, Windows. Experience with LAN/WAN networking schemes such as DNS, ACLs, TCP/IP and OSI models Experience with DevOps scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Bash etc. is desirable. Experience with Ticketing system tool such as ServiceDesk and competencies in Major Incident Management Knowledge of using system monitoring/alerting tools Description As a Storage Operation Lead System administrator working with our Offshore Operation team and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and administration of our Apple Storage Infrastructure platforms. This position requires additional focus on supporting the needs of large scale enterprise project deployments under tight timelines. As Lead Storage administrator, you will also be responsible to mentor and train our offshore storage administrator team, provide 24/7 on call support as needed. Education & Experience BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of relevant work experience Additional Requirements
