As a Senior Healthcare Economics Consultant, you will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance, and maintain clinical information and operational models that will have an impact on business decisions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your analytical skills and create valuable solutions to improve the health care system.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Analyze, review, and trend complex data
  • Review the analysis and interpretation of others work
  • Oversee ad-hoc client and operational reports developed and presented by others
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
  • Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis
  • Develop and implement effective/strategic solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements from the client/business
  • Experience with data analysis with the ability to problem solve, research conflicting and/or inaccurate data, and creating formal documentation of findings
  • Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes
  • Clinical reporting experience
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and automated database management systems required
  • Experience utilizing excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a comfort level performing formal presentations to executive leadership
  • Must be located in the state of Texas



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Healthcare Administration
  • 2+ years of intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL data analysis and/or other development and statistical tools
