General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Private Label/National Accounts Sales Manager is responsible to position and sell high volumes of traditional NPK blends and private label NPK blends to large, multi-location agricultural retailers in the domestic market. The accounts established will largely be new customers to Nachurs Alpine Solutions.

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:



  • Develop a list of target accounts to move larger volumes of traditional Nachurs NPK blends and private label blends
  • Build and strengthen key relationships with target accounts. Travel will be required
  • Within target accounts look for additional opportunities: micronutrients, adjuvants, etc.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of this sales and marketing growth plan
  • Attend trade shows to promote products as necessary
  • Work closely with the VP of New Ag Markets to develop strategy, pricing, etc.
  • Maintain a deep customer knowledge of needs, buying preferences, and competitive product offerings, price benchmarks
  • Provide as-requested updates and communication to senior management on relevant information, market trends, and progress on budget/forecast
  • Other duties as needed


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years job-related experience within the fertilizer market (liquid NPK a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Relationships at the agricultural retail level a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Proven sales and business development success
  • Proven ability to work with different levels within an organization
