Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees campus computer lab upkeep and day-to-day support, open access lab printing, and poster printing services at the Water Tower Campus ( WTC). Maintains computer lab webpages and related documentation resources. Serves as lead with student labor administrator at WTC, including applicant communications, hiring paperwork, scheduling, training and general on-boarding, including ongoing development of training resources.

1. Leads student labor administration efforts for the area of Digital Media Services at WTC including applicant communications, hiring paperwork, scheduling, training and general on-boarding, including ongoing development of training resources.
2. Serves as lead for student labor pool with an emphasis on multimedia, print and graphic design software production, including ongoing development of related external client training resources at WTC.
3. Supervises general operations and organization of open access computer labs at WTC, including inventory of consumable supplies (paper, toner, cleaning supplies), ITS ticketing requests related to computer lab daily support/triage support for troubleshooting; collaborates routinely with Desktop Services, including annual reimage project involvement and testing.
4. Oversees WTC Poster Printing services, including upkeep, service request processing, annual budget account code transfer billings, and support for large campus printing initiatives and poster session needs.
5. Primary system administrator for systems focused on lab utilization metrics, print supplies and upkeep, including weekly metrics and ongoing usage reports.
6. Assists with circulation of equipment loan resources and webinar/virtual event support and trainings.
7. Attends departmental meetings and contributes to ongoing area initiatives.
8. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field such as Digital Media, Communications, Fine Arts, Education or Computer Science.

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, or Education.
Computer Skills
Applicants should be hard working, enthusiastic, and resourceful. The Digital Media Lab Supervisor should have familiarity in technologies in order to provide subject matter expertise on these technology tools:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Light Room, InDesign/Illustrator, some knowledge of Premiere Pro)
- Media Lab Computer Administration
Familiarity with other print and design applications, scheduling software, Learning Management Systems, online webinar systems, or Python/coding considered a plus.
