MAC-SWIM INSTRUCTOR HIRING FOR CURRENT POSITIONS AND SUMMER JOBS!

Purpose: Provide a high quality swim lesson for members and non-members of the Michigan Athletic Club following American Red Cross guidelines.

Job Duties: Follow American Red Cross guidelines and standards for Learn to Swim program. Prepare lesson plans in accordance with Level teaching. Prepare report cards for each student in class. Provide direct communication with parents in regards to child(ren)'s progress or concerns. Responsible for billing for private lessons with members, non-members. Responsible for submitting completed paperwork to service desk for billing and to aquatics director for payroll purposes in a timely manner. Demonstrates the MAC customer service model and Sparrow ICARE values.

General Requirements Requirements: Must hold current Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED certifications. Water Safety Instructor certification preferred, higher pay rate with WSI. Must be able to life minimum of 25 lbs to assist with removal of pool covers, and be able to clean-up and remove biohazard materials.
