Head Men's and Women's Cycling Coach

Roanoke College is seeking a seasoned cycling veteran to head up our new program! This full time, 12 month position is responsible for administering all aspects of the cycling program (mountain biking, cyclocross, and road racing). Must be committed to developing athletes within College, Conference, and USA Cycling policies, procedures, and regulations.

The head coach will identify and successfully recruit academically and athletically talented student athletes. The successful candidate will provide the vision, leadership, and strategic planning to direct and supervise all activities relative to teaching, training, and skill development in preparation for intercollegiate competitions, including practice. This position schedules competitions and organizes travel to and from events.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and must have significant experience managing, directing, and coordinating cycling teams. National competition experience a plus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
