MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in relevant technical field
  • Logistics support of C5ISR requirements
  • CMPro experience
  • Experience tracking software and hardware
  • Experience tracking licenses, warranty, and vendor information for hardware and software systems


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Associates Degree
  • DADMS experience
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle (Acquisition) Logistics Level I, or equivalent logistics training.
  • Experience in Logistics Support.
  • Experience in Configuration Management.
  • DIPRDON experience highly desired.
  • Experience with MS EXCEL and ACCESS highly desired.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

SRC is continuing and expanding their support of the Navy's Computer Network Defense (CND) program, on a 5 year delivery order. The SRC team provides cutting-edge engineering, analysis, integration and life cycle sustainment support for the CND systems. The purpose of the Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) program is to augment CND capabilities and integrate them into the unique environments encountered by Navy forces. Navy CND is an integral part of the cyber defense posture, protecting the Navy's component of the Global Information Grid (GIG) from exploitation and strongly linking to critical infrastructure protection. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic requires resources to support the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Integration activities for the Information Technology for the 21st Century (IT-21), and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONENET) networks, to enhance network and cyber security.

As a member of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team the candidate will provide logistics and configuration management support for Computer Network Defense Systems (CNDS). Candidate will support logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating and evaluating the logistical actions required to support the CND program. SRC is looking for qualified candidates for a challenging position on the CND ILS Team.



  • Help organize and maintain hardware and software tracking information, within the 'Master Baseline' document. Currently the HW/SW baseline information is maintained in a comprehensive Microsoft Excel tracking sheet, and includes all artifacts and all dependencies
  • Works with other team members to ensure the tracking of all software and hardware procured, along with tracking and maintain warranty support information to include start and end dates, are captured and properly maintained within the 'Master Baseline' tracking sheet
  • Support and provide information for any data calls in regards to hardware and software material
  • Ensure all licenses are registered and tracked
  • Helps develop documents used for preparation of product support during the acquisition and sustainment of the system/equipment
  • Support and provide information for any data calls in regards to hardware and software material
  • Generate/monitor change status accounting records and reports
  • Capture and document relevant configuration information for project/product
  • Conducts periodic inventory reviews and communicates results to management
  • Assists other teams and engineers with assigned configuration items
  • Support CM audits conducted by customer and internal QA audits
  • Perform other logistical and configuration management duties as assigned
