Impact & Scope:

The Account Manager (AM) is a service and account management role, responsible for being the primary point of contact for institutional school partnerships. Through face-to-face meetings, phone conversations, presentations, and a deep and thorough understanding of a school's needs, the AM will develop strong, long-term relationships with our institutional customers leading to near-term and long-term business results.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Manage institutional customer base in assigned territory building mutually beneficial relationships that drive top line growth through contract renewals

  • Negotiate, deliver, and book all business associated with existing and renewal accounts /contracts

  • Introduce new products to existing customer base or at time of renewals, based on thorough understanding of customer's needs/goals

  • Act as primary point of contact for all post-sale services including the scheduling of program delivery and that ongoing customer needs are heard and met by relevant internal teams

  • Ensure all back-end operations are smooth leading to seamless service delivery including student roster receipt and timely booking & invoicing

  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills to facilitate effective orientations & presentations (in person or live online delivery)

  • Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritization, organizational skills

  • Demonstrate strong relationship building skills both internally and with customers, ability to work across dispersed teams in a virtual workforce

  • Demonstrate strong goal orientation

  • Extremely organized with a maniacal eye for detail and exceptional follow through

  • Self-starter with a high energy level, optimistic demeanor, commitment to excellence, and a diligent work ethic

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required

  • 3+ years of outside/inside/high-touch retail sales, or high-touch service experience

  • Up to 25% availability for travel in assigned territory

  • Willing to work extended hours (as needed)
