We are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our Vendor Marketing team and manage a team of content writers and producers.

This role will be responsible for architecting and evolving a comprehensive content strategy for Gartner Digital Markets, including the development of thought leadership pieces from market research in ways that reveal relevant and actionable buyer insights to Sales and Marketing professionals working for software vendors.

Key responsibilities will include: editorial calendar development and management, creative project management, SEO keyword research, ensuring editorial integrity/quality, and frequent communications with the sales and marketing leadership team.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the Vendor Marketing content strategy and marketing team, with responsibility for architecting a global strategy, delivering on KPIs and sharing results with leadership

  • Drive content creation aligned to audience-centric demand generation, pipeline maturation, and customer adoption strategies

  • Maintain content editorial calendar and reporting, ensuring promotion of content is timely, including global content translations across 25+ regions and priority languages

  • Manage and develop the team that produces educational, promotional, and sales enablement content including ebooks, webinars, videos, case studies, blog posts, web guides, email copy, organic social posts, display ads, sales collateral, and more

  • Liaison with market research and brand team experts for insights and creative assets

  • Develop priority topics for keyword research, SEO optimization, content calendaring for blog and related resources

  • Stay on top of trends within multiple industries

What You Will Need:

  • 5 - 8 years of B2B marketing, agency, or media experience

  • BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies (Blog, Search, Social, Video, Email, etc) and written communication designed to drive action

  • Excellentcommunication and collaborationskills across multiple stakeholders, seniority levels, and teams, including ability to tell a cohesive story through Powerpoint

  • Strong analytical abilities in researching topics and distilling out the critical issues

  • Proactive attitude and team player with prioritization superskills

  • Understanding and commitment to upholding high editorial standards and integrity of practice

  • Prior experience working with business software, including Google Docs, Google Analytics, and Content Management Systems (CMS)
