SVP of Shine Early Learning

The Purpose of the Role

The SVP of Shine Early Learning is responsible for ensuring the successful design and execution of the Shine partnership programs and services, including a central office support structure, partner-level staffing and the establishment and ongoing tracking of benchmarks and partner program outcomes. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership with commitment to principles of equity, to successful multi-site child care organizations, business growth and development, and will ensure successful delivery of high quality services in this fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life

  • Oversees and provides executive leadership on all phases of first-year program start-ups, ensuring that the transition team successfully

  • Builds, develops, and manages relationships with executive leadership in our partner programs.

  • Leads client strategy around program implementation.

  • Lead/Oversee contract and subcontract processes.

  • Builds, develops, and manages effective teams and coordinates services, learning, and supports with Acelero Learning delegates, Program team, and support team.

  • Lead/Oversee contract and subcontract processes.

  • Manages the P&L of the Shine programs and services.

  • Coordinates with Finance and Strategy Growth on ongoing business development efforts, invoicing and expense tracking across multiple concurrent multi-million-dollar contracts and accounts.

  • Works with various stakeholders on grant application development, submission and development of proposed structure and budgets for new programs.

  • Supports business development for new features and partnerships.

Position Reports To: President, Reggie Bicha

Position Manages: This person will lead a team of 3-5 direct reports including Community Programs, Special projects and public systems, and will have an assistant. Shine is 250+ employees and growing.

Who should apply?

You meet these requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree/MBA/MPA preferred.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience building and leading organizations with a progressive track record of management success.

  • Experience in Early Childhood Education/Child Care, Business, or Human Services program management, including program planning, operations, and evaluation, and the use of management information systems.

  • Experience in budget management and contract negotiations

When/Where/How Much

Start Date: Potentially October 2022

Location/Travel: Remote up to 40% Travel to locations in 30+ States. Travel for work-related meetings and functions.

Salary Range: $176,794 to $203,700.
