The Interactive Media Group (IMG) is at the center of audio, video and graphics support in Apple's innovative products, including the HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV. IMG's Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Spatial Audio, Siri, FaceTime and media capture and playback. Key Qualifications Experience with the C/C++ programming languages Experience in secure coding best practices and code auditing Proficiency in macOS or other UNIX like operating systems FAMILIARITY WITH MODERN PROCESSOR ARCHITECTURE Experience in writing stress tests using fuzzing and similar tools Ability to assess the severity and impact of security related issues A proven track record in finding security vulnerabilities in source code and compiled libraries Description As an audio security engineer you will be responsible for auditing complex audio software projects and develop specific tests and automation tools to help identify security vunerabilities. You will work closely with the IMG Audio and security engineering teams to enhance the security of the software stack from the API down to the core functionality layers. This position will require triaging, analyzing and investigating security issues reported from internal and external sources. Education & Experience BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience. Additional Requirements Familiarity with assembly languages Experience working with Bluetooth accessories is a plus.
