200387809 Imagine what you could do here! We are looking for an experienced Global Market Development Manager to join the Commercial Programs team at Apple Retail. This team collaborates with partners across Apple to design, build and manage compelling revenue-driving programs that offer customers affordability and upgrade options and contribute to Retail's commercial success. This role will play a meaningful role in defining and implementing key Carrier partner strategies at Retail. They will manage a small but mighty team that partners with top global Carrier networks to set the promotional cadence for carrier offers at Retail and defines the global customer experience for connecting/activating devices. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic individual with deep problem solving competencies, a strong commercial drive and outstanding partner management skills. Key Qualifications
Description Lead a team that owns expertise of market dynamics and customer buying trends across global carrier business, spanning iPhone and all connected lines of business to identify market opportunities and help shape commercial programs and offers to capitalize on these opportunities Run the operations and optimization of the carrier business from new product launch readiness and pricing management identifying program enhancements & opportunities based on the local landscape and trends. Manage the country level program performance and drives the full customer experience and makes recommendation on adjusting business strategy and offerings. Drive key WW Carrier partner relationships, developing mutually successful go to market short and long term plans and execution; negotiate with local carriers in partnership with the channel carrier team. Ensure feedback from other regions is taken into account to support innovative approaches in alignment with the needs of specific markets. Partner with the broader Global Retail Support (GRS), Finance, Apple Online Store teams, and more on opportunities for change to current operations, in line with the business objectives. Contribute to executive-facing presentations and updates for the Retail Leadership Team including annual business plans, quarterly priorities, and critical metric performance. Lead a local team delivering on medium to large size, global and cross-functional initiatives focused on analyzing performance and customer experience and making recommendation on adjusting business strategy and offerings. Education & Experience Master's degree in relevant field (MBA a plus) or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in a strategic business development role (carrier experience a plus) 3+ years of management experience Some travel required Additional Requirements
