We are recruiting a dynamic, energetic and motivated individual to join the Infrastructure Services Business Operations - Global Purchasing Operations (GPOPs) team. The Purchasing Operations team is the central Infrastructure Services ordering and fulfillment operations function and is responsible to drive precise execution of the order process. Infrastructure Purchasing Operations Analysts ensure that Apple infrastructure purchase requisitions are initiated promptly and orders are signaled for build, shipment, and delivery in line with the agreements with our multi-functional teams. This team works collaboratively with multi-functional teams to secure operational excellence across the regions, they use insight and analytics to improve the order to fulfillment process with innovative fulfillment strategies.

Description
This position is for an experienced Individual Contributor who will support the fulfillment of tactical requests for data center hardware and various purchasing needs. This person will apply data analysis and process mapping to drive the optimal fulfillment activities from order induction through delivery and post delivery support. Other responsibilities include: Process hardware and services requests including exceptions and change orders according to SOPs within set SLAs. Manage inbound inquiries and cross functional communication. Manage the correlation of data input to the acquisition and invoicing of assets. Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes to support the purchasing of assets. Participate with internal business expansion and automation projects. Act as a key shareholder in developing automated solutions and testing that these solutions are fit for purpose. Collaborate across the Apple organization to ensure business objectives are met. Includes the ability to rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders and to actively identify potential supply issues that can affect product strategy. Assess and mitigate risks to the business. Manage the result and impact of global supply chain disruptions in real time with the support of an international team.
Education & Experience
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related experience
Additional Requirements
  • Experience working with large volumes of data
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics
  • Data Center experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of transactional systems and processes. SAP background preferred
  • Advanced experience in Excel - v-lookup formula, pivot tables and reports
