As Americas Channels Commercial Enablement Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as a key member of both the Valves Global Channels team and the respective Regional Sales teams to drive profitable growth within the Valves Channel Partner Portfolio.

  • Leading cross-functional efforts with the Regional Sales, Training, Services Enablement, Industry Vertical, Valve Solutions sales, and other supporting functions, as needed, to make channels more self-sufficient and effective in the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) sales process by:

  • Increasing channel partners commercial capabilities, including:

  • Product & applications domain knowledge, and technical selling capabilities in both core and new adjacent markets by working closely with Industry and Valve Solutions Sales teams.

  • Expertise and self-sufficiency with Channel facing tools (ValvStore, ValvStream, PRM Portal, Welcome Package, Website, etc.).

  • Equipment sizing & configuration self-sufficiency with minimal support

  • Increased commercial intensity around opportunity management, account planning, value selling, marketing & promotion, etc.

  • Any other areas of need as identified through discovery efforts.

  • Proactively defining, prioritizing, and directing individual channel development & training plans and support initiatives for both existing and new channel partners.

  • Coordinating regionally focused channel training sessions and complementing existing training sessions & content by working closely with Global Training team, Product Line team and others as needed.

  • Supporting the Channels Sr. Business Partner, Regional Sales and other stakeholders in driving key regional strategic and operational initiatives, including:

  • Wing-to-wing (W2W) Channel Partner Performance Management process, from initial assessment through the definition and execution of Mutual Action Plans (MAPs) for every Channel Partner.

  • Channel Coverage optimization, including channel selection, territory adjustments, etc.

  • Services Growth initiatives (led by Services Enablement team), including channel & BH regional stocking optimization, outage planning initiatives, Valve Lifecycle Management (VLM), etc.

  • Communication, VOC, and best practice sharing initiatives within / across regions with Channel Partners.

  • Collaboration amongst channel partners, including lead sharing, opportunity collaboration, inventory sharing, etc.

  • Channel related commercial excellence initiatives, ensuring proper prioritization and execution of initiatives.

  • Resolving execution, audit or performance issues that arise with channel partners

  • Proactively supporting Channel Partners with marketing, promotion activities, branding, and other commercial needs.

  • Leading / Supporting other channel related projects as required.

  • Channel #L1/L2 quote support requests (% reduction)

  • Channel Installed Base Validation & Penetration %

  • Channel Year over Year orders growth (Projects & Aftermarket)

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Have at least 5 years of sales / commercial experience and dealing effectively with channel partners or end customers

  • Have valves (control, safety, regulation, etc.) domain and industry knowledge

  • Have a heightened sense of teamwork, entrepreneurism and accountability.

  • Have interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, communicate, build consensus and lead cross-functional teams at different levels of a matrix organization.

  • Have oral and written English language communication skills

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency.

  • Have a hardworking with a positive, can-do attitude, and be willing and able to roll up your sleeves to get the goals accomplished.

  • Have the ability to work across time zones in order to support regional activity and flexibility to travel (if needed)
