The Senior IT Auditor will oversee the testing and analysis of general computer control (GCC), regulatory controls and work collaboratively with the control operators. Assess risk posed by potential findings and present the finding to the auditees and senior management. You will also need to stay aware of emerging technologies and risks.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer information systems inclusive of system security, change controls, backup, and disaster recovery, etc.

  • Performs SOX control testing for a multitude of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.

  • Knowledge of, and ability to, use and maintain Team Mate audit software.

  • Prepares audit findings and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions.

  • Prepares and presents written and oral issues/reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner for distribution to management.

  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience, in internal or external IT auditing, or security compliance and/or relevant experience in information technology.

  • CISA, CISM, CIA, or CISSP certification required.

  • Extensive knowledge of IT audit procedures, including planning, testing techniques, and sampling methods is required.

  • Strong experience in writing Audit Programs/Controls.

  • Demonstrate ability toperformapplicationaudits, project implementation audits, general computer controls (GCC)/Network Audits, SOX Compliance audits.

  • Experience in auditing operating systems such as Windows, Unix, databases such Oracle, SQL Server, Active Directory, Firewalls, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, EBS).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with a leading professional firm in the field of internal/external IT audit, or IT Risk and Compliance is a plus.

  • Understanding of IT audit methodology, techniques, control frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27001, COBIT etc., risk based and agile auditing.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Soft Skills:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills (verbal and written), and presentation skills.

  • Ability to confidently work with different levels of management.

  • Good judgment - fair and objective.
