Warehouse & Yard Associate (Wireline Services) - Hempstead, TX

As a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you are to execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse and yard activities which include receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, accuracy and the delivery of inventory/equipment to internal and external customers. In Baker Hughes you will get to work in a multi -racial environment.

As a Warehouse & Yard Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Complete logistics transactions; schedule trucks to pick up materials, complete delivery ticket, and BOLs
• Complete cycle counts upon request
• Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
• Stocks received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
• Picks materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping.
• Prepares component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.

To be successful in this role you will:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years related experience.
• The work environment is very fast paced and noisy. It is one of constant movement while performing the duties of this job.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The employee must be able to operate a sit down rider forklift while loading or unloading freight.
• SAP Experience a plus, but not required
• Must be at least 21 years or plus to complete ATF track and trace (acquisition log, disposition log)
• Must be comfortable working in a Warehouse/Fulfillment handling explosives.

• Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm is standard.
• May need to move to a 9 hour shift (7:00am-4:30pm)
