For more information about our employee benefits,CLICK HERE!New Hire Education Requirement: All Registered Nurses who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to successfully obtain their BSN within 5 years of hire.Professional development: If you are a new graduate with less than 1 year of experience, you will be able to participate in our Nurse Residency Program. Sentara Healthcare in collaboration with Vizient and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) launched the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program. Cohort meets monthly for 4 hours. The seminar structure is collaborative with interactive learning. The program included Tales from the Bedside/Clinical Reflections, leadership, patient outcomes, case studies, and an evidence based project. This is a one-year residency and Nurses will be awarded a certificate at the end of the program.
