About the Opportunity:

Our Managed Service team is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team focused on supporting our customer's effective use of their Banner ERP system. This is a high impact role where your expertise and customer service abilities will enhance the student experience and drive their success.

Where you will make an impact:

• Provides functional and technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions about software, processes and reporting
• Provides functional business process analysis and redesign assistance by partnering with customer business units and appropriately recommending efficiencies and improvements
• Troubleshoots errors and issues encountered by end users and provides resolution to solve issue to client's satisfaction
• Assists technical staff by gathering functional requirements needed for developing reports and modifying or improving program code
• Partners with manager, site staff, and customers to gather requirements about business process flows, application intent, functions, features, data, input and output requirements and software and interfaces between systems
• Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs and reports meet specifications
• Assists client with identifying data integration points and functional dependencies within the Banner ERP system and to third party systems
• Advises on key communication needs for Banner modules and maintenance upgrades while working with both local and remote resources.
• Works closely with project management and technical teams to support deployment of initiatives and business process analysis efforts
• Works with client to develop functional requirements and data mapping specifications
• Creates and updates ticket tracking system with required information
• Writes and maintains documentation of changes to computer code, programs, business process flows and functional specifications

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
• 5 years of experience and expert functional/technical knowledge in the Banner ERP application
• Effective skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation
• Good understanding of entire development and implementation process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance
• Understanding of higher education related business processes in one or more of these areas: Records & Registration, Admissions, Advising, Student Accounts, Finance, Human Resources
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors
• Excellent decision-making, time-management, and planning skills
• Customer-centric approach to problem-solving
• Must be a self-starter and motivated to move projects forward
• Ability to manage competing priorities
