Job Description

The candidate will provide customer support by assisting with sales procedures across the North America Visa Direct Specialized Sales organization, while partnering with Sales Operations, Product, Legal, and Commercialization teams to develop and execute against all aspects of the Visa Direct Merchant, FinTechs, and/or Enabler deal construct. The candidate will be a seasoned professional w/ sales support. This role will serve as a pseudo chief of staff capacity, working across and responsible for small projects or processes and providing guidance to Visa Direct Specialized Sellers.

Essential Functions

  • Support Specialized Sales leaders w/ deal constructs and effective pipeline management

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pipeline rigor

  • Analyze large data sets and perform ad-hoc analysis to identify trends across digital money movement space

  • Create effective value proposition materials that can be leveraged in client discussions

  • Provide light touch engagement with critical client partners.

  • Partner w/ internal stakeholders to provide performance reporting and analytics.

  • Deep ability to uncover new opportunities by working internally and externally to identify push-to-card opportunities.

  • Works across Visa Direct Specialized Sellers with lots of autonomy.

  • Strong ability to influence others within the team regarding practices and procedures.

  • Will partner across several cross functional teams related to the complete sales cycle

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- 3-5 years working in a sales professional, preferable in payments and/or money movement.
- Extensive knowledge in payments, technology, and/or financial services experience a must
- Strong quantitative analytical experience, background and/or interest in Professional Sales.
- Strong willingness to win, must possess grit.
- Ability to work in a fast pace, flexible, and innovative environment.
- Desire to work creativity in an ambiguous space.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze large transactional data sets, interpret ambiguous situations, and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong understanding of the importance of working cross functionally.
- Advanced skills in SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, UNIX, and Excel.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on a course of action.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.
