We are seeking a Weapon System Accuracy Analyst to help us evaluate the system-level accuracy of the nation's future strategic deterrent, including the D5LE2 submarine-launched ballistic missile, the Air Force 's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, and other future systems. This is an opportunity to work with a talented and inclusive team developing accuracy requirements and executing architectural trades for next generation weapon systems, ensuring US interests are met through 21st century. Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have...
- A B.S. in physics, applied mathematics, engineering, or related technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience that includes working in strategic deterrence domain area or flight systems analysis.
- Strong computer and programming skills
- Experience using modeling and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of platform (submarine and/or missile) dynamics, navigation, guidance, and control.
- Strong knowledge of linear and nonlinear filters and associated computational challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The qualifications needed in this job also include initiative, interest in skill development and the flexibility to accept assignments of varied scope and skill.
- Are able to obtain Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

- M.S. or PhD. in physics, applied mathematics, engineering, or related technical discipline with 5+ years of experience strategic deterrence domain area or flight systems analysis.
- Strong object-oriented programming experience and proficient with C++, MATLAB, or Python
- Expertise in requirement development and verification for strategic systems, including environment definition
- Knowledge of next generation inertial measurement units and sensors
- Experience with maximum likelihood estimation using Fisher information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to present to high level government sponsors
- Hold an active Secret or higher level clearance.
