As a Solution Engineering Manager in Smart Automation, you will be working with intelligent automation technologies to enable the Digital Workforce for Capital Group. You will be evolving the vision of the Digital Workforce and how it can be leveraged to help Capital Group realize competitive advantages. You will have the day-to-day responsibility of leading a team that will be designing, building, and supporting these process automations. In addition, you will be connecting with industry peers and sources to drive a roadmap for enabling new automation capabilities.

"This role will be responsible for:"
  • You will drive vision for Smart Automation and the role it will play in solving business problems or creating business opportunities for CG while leveraging industry insights
  • You will liaise with IT leaders to ensure that services are supported, secure, and scales in line with Business Demand.
  • You will own the Framework that underpins the rapid and repeatable delivery of process automation and ongoing scheduling, monitoring and evolution of the automated processes to increase and improve business benefits.
  • You will oversee the quality delivery of solutions in accordance with the agreed Smart Automation Delivery Methodology and Design Standards to achieve a consistent high standard of solution to Business Requirements.
  • You will understand system and business change cycles to ensure automated processes are proactively amended to reflect changes.
  • You will manage, track, and distribute appropriate KPI's to Business Customers.
  • You will identify and manage risks and dependencies and effectively manage these across internal departments and Smart Automation vendors as necessary.
  • You will recruit, develop, and lead engineering talent as a high-performance delivery team

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • You have at least 10 years of solution delivery experience, and general working knowledge of solution lifecycle management tools and continuous delivery methods.
  • You have at least 3 years of people management experience acting as a player/coach providing technical leadership, mentorship, and management across solution engineering teams.
  • You have practical knowledge of tools, techniques, and best practices for implementing process automation (BluePrism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere are preferred). Additional experience with Business Process Management (BPM) solutions a plus. (e.g, Appian , Pega).
  • You are naturally inquisitive and enjoy problem solving.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to change environments for the better through technology.
