Shopper Marketing Manager - RCCB

Position Summary:

The Shopper Marketing Manager develops and leads shopper marketing initiatives and programs for key retailers. This position develops strategic marketing solutions to drive the company's business goals with a portfolio of key retail customers. The Shopper Marketing Manager is the subject matter expert for the company's strategic shopper and merchandising ideation and solutions.


Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Develop winning online and offline business building solutions with key retail customers

  • Develop, manage and maintain strategic relationships with key customer marketing leads

  • Leverage the company's assets through strategic marketing plans with customers

  • Collaborate with creative activation leads to deliver excellent and timely activation tools

  • Collaborate with brand/category teams as well as other key internal/external stakeholders

  • Work with brand partners and Coca-Cola North American Operating Unit (NAOU) cross functional roles to develop strategic customer-specific brand initiatives

  • Sell marketing programs to key customers

  • Utilize insights and analysis to make business decisions

  • Steward and report program results to stakeholders

  • Manage shopper marketing budgets

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Business-related field with 6 plus years of consumer goods/beverages industry experience and 3 plus years of people management experience

  • Experience in developing online and offline shopper strategies and plans

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate with and influence others

  • Creative mindset and strategic thinker

  • Ability to anticipate future needs for the business

  • Results-oriented

  • Experience managing a budget

  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft office i.e., PowerPoint and Excel

  • Travel up to 15%

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple business opportunities and projects


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • MBA or other Master's degree

  • Extensive marketing and sales experience

  • Customer, Sales, Brand management experience

  • Experience building and monitoring annual business plans

  • Experience in Shopper insights, category management and shopper marketing.

  • Customer engagement experience with ability to drive mutual business results
