SAMPLE ACCOUNTABILITY ANALYST

Job Summary:

The Sample Accountability Analyst will be a member of the Commercial Operations team and will help support the field sales organization. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of PDMA Sample guidelines and be organized, detailed oriented and customer service focused.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sample and promotional material transactions in Veeva and third-party vendor software programs
  • Support Commercial Operations Manager with sales force inquiries related to Veeva (CRM), DCM and Samples/PDMA compliance
  • Monitor and track vendor web-based ordering system for order approvals and updates related to inventory, territories, and user information.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires and creation of new accounts in Veeva
  • Support Commercial Operations Manager with annual policy updates, trainings, reporting, and audits.
  • Provide support to Commercial Operations Manager to monitor inventory quantities available at the warehouse and make distributions to the Field
  • Support Commercial Operations Manager in enforcing compliance on all Sample Accountability and Salesforce Policies and Procedures according to the Corporate Sampling Policy, Business Rules and all Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Maintain Samples Accountability department filing system and provide necessary documentation for both internal and external use as directed by the Manager
  • Perform special project work and related duties as assigned/required

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ work experience; Sample Accountability experience is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of PDMA highly preferred
  • Must be an advanced Excel user; MS Access experience very beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills; including the ability to effectively communicate the findings associated with data analysis or team member questions
  • Ability to communicate effectively within the organization and with third party vendors, possibly including government agencies
  • Experience with Salesforce.com / Veeva helpful
  • Pharma/biotech experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to multitask in an ever changing fast paced environment

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions

  • Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Maintain high ethical standards of integrity and quality
