Software Engineer, Information Technology

As a Software Engineer you build and support solutions critical to all aspects of our business. Areas of development include front-end Web applications, back-end services, and commercial product integration. As a member of the IT Solutions team, you will also participate in design and code reviews, and will collaborate with other team members.

You will participate in requirements meetings and design sessions with members of NISA's business departments to assist in the design and refinement of solutions.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Information Systems
• Experience developing with an object-oriented language, such as C# or Java
• Experience working with source control
• Interest in working with modern technologies, including containerization, cloud-native solutions, etc
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end framework
• Experience designing queries in SQL Server or another relational database platform
• Experience with unit testing framework
• Working knowledge of Rest API
• Previous professional experience in financial services sector
