Sr Product Manager

The Sr Product Manager will contribute to the ongoing transformation of a >$1Bn business and will be responsible for building innovative products to help maximize value for our clients.

As a critical member of the team, this person will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle. Through analysis; gathering and prioritizing customer requirements; defining product vision; implementation and launching; tracking progress and impact; leveraging scalable best practices; identifying and implementing market-driven enhancements - this role will significantly contribute to achieving sustained double-digit contract value growth and strong client retention.

What you will do:

This role will lead product innovations and apply lean product principles in everything we do. This role will be responsible for a variety of contributions including:

  • Owning the product build and launch for subset of technology practices
  • Lead initiatives to launch new products or manage existing products (includes end to end issue identification and resolution). Make effective use of technology to drive product experience
  • Deeply understand client value drivers to drive high levels of customer satisfaction/retention. Conduct client interviews and capture client feedback to inform and enhance product backlog
    Build consistent processes and automate to drive continued client feedback
  • Incubating pilot products as needed, including identifying & analyzing key business metrics to uncover reasons for success, reasons for obstacles and deliver needed enhancement
  • Project managing through the development process from concept through to launch - ensuring continued impact and tracking progress of metrics post-launch
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to aid decision making about product concept, strategy and content while applying lean product principles
  • Developing and presenting regular updates to top executives in addition to joining collaborative problem-solving sessions with Research, Product Management, Sales and Service to finalize product concept, features/functionality and successfully implement.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years business experience (product development/management/strategy)
  • 3+ years developing and managing innovative products or programs required
  • Experience with B2B products and/or data and insights products strongly desired
  • Strong customer focus-ability to understand customer needs and to develop products that solve problems for customers
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative business analytics, including ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • Strategic thinker and fast learner - gets the big picture and can get up to speed on Gartner processes/systems/people very quickly
  • Ability to develop, organize, and lead initiatives through proven and exceptional project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone
